Bedbug Sprays and Insecticide Concentrates in Kenya

These products are liquid concentrates that are mixed with water and applied as a spray, following the dilution rate and directions on each product's label. A spray can help with a small, early problem in the places its label allows, but it will not reach every hiding place in an established infestation. Read what to consider before buying a bedbug spray first.

How to choose a bedbug spray

  • Check the label first. Confirm bedbugs are listed as a target pest, note the registration number, and read where the product may and may not be applied.
  • Understand the formulation. SL, SC, EC and EW products are all concentrates that are diluted with water before spraying; the label gives the dilution rate. SC products must be shaken well before measuring.
  • Pick the right pack size. Small packs suit treating one room; larger packs are more economical for several rooms. If unsure, ask us on WhatsApp before ordering.
  • Plan for follow-up. Bedbug eggs survive many treatments, so a single application rarely solves an established problem.

Using a spray safely

Wear the protective equipment the label specifies, keep children and pets out of treated rooms for the stated period, never mix products, and never apply a product to mattresses or bedding unless its label explicitly allows it. See how to choose bedbug control products for home use.

When a spray is not enough

If you are finding bedbugs in more than one room, bites continue after correct use, or you live in a flat or shared building, book a professional bedbug inspection. Our two-treatment programme costs from KSh 4,500 per visit — see the price list.

Read the label. Every time.

A pesticide label states where a product may be used, how much to apply and what precautions to take. It is the legal and safety reference for that product.

  • Use only where the label allows

Many sprays are not approved for mattresses, bedding or anywhere with prolonged skin contact.

  • Never exceed the stated amount

More product does not work better and increases exposure for your household.

  • Never mix products

Combining pesticides can be dangerous and is not more effective.

  • Professional products are for professionals

We do not sell professional-use-only products to household customers.
