Who we are
This website is operated for Pestraid Kenya, Argwings Kodhek Road, Rose Avenue, Nairobi (telephone 0710 907628). Bedbugs Control Services Kenya is Pestraid Kenya's specialist bedbug service. Pestraid Kenya is responsible for the personal data described here, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
Your name, telephone number, optional email address, property type, location or neighbourhood, number of affected rooms, your description of the problem and your preferred contact method.
When you place an order
Your name, mobile number, email address, delivery address and notes, and the products ordered. Payments are processed by Paystack on its own secure page. We do not receive or store your card details or M-Pesa PIN; we receive confirmation of payment, the amount and the payment channel.
When you browse the site
If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and clicks on our phone and WhatsApp links. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser (local storage) and is not sent to us until you check out.
When you contact us by phone or WhatsApp
We receive the information you choose to share. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, inspect, quote for and carry out treatment.
- To process, deliver and support product orders.
- To keep records required for accounting and legal purposes.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details for marketing without your separate consent.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the service, such as our email delivery provider, payment provider (Paystack), hosting provider and, if enabled, Google Analytics — and authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record keeping. Order and payment records are kept for the period required by Kenyan tax and accounting rules.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. To make a request, call or WhatsApp 0710 907628. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
